Historical 14th century hamlet, rich of history,
situated between Sienna and San Gimignano amid the gently rolling Siennese
hills, one of the most enchanting landscapes of Tuscany and culturally
one of Italy's richest regions.
The hamlet has recently been completely restored while retaining its
original and characteristic features.
The 16 homes, which vary in size from 40 to 160 m2 each architecturally
different from each other, all with a beautiful open fireplace in the
living room and well equipped kitchens, can be rented on a weekly basis.
The 3 superior double rooms with mini-bar are rented on a daily basis.
Breakfast with extensive buffet and basic hotel services are included
in the price. Upon request full hotel services available.
Borgo Il Poggiaccio has a large swimming-pool (225m2) with sun trap
terrace, deck-chairs and parasols and tennis court, table tennis, basket
ball, mountain bikes.
On site there is an extremely beautiful restaurant, with enoteca/wine
bar and piano bar, which is situated in a medieval cellar thus offering
a magical atmosphere, which is known for the Tuscan cuisine specialties.
We organize weekly musical soirées and a guided wine tasting.
During summertime the dinners are served on the large terrace near by
the swimming pool with romantic live guitar or piano music.
Well tended garden areas with pergolas, tables and benches. We have
guarded private parking lots. Pets are welcome. Upon request relaxing
massages and babysitter service on site. We organize cooking and languages
lessons, various art and craft courses, conferences and all kinds of
ceremonies (weddings, anniversaries). The property is Swiss owned and
managed.
